Need some serious guild help
Okay fellow guild wars players I have a big problem I am a leader of my so called guild which is just me and my girlfriend and I can't really do what I want in guild wars unless I either have a good guild to help me out or just try and group up with people online. Well what I want to do is go to the underworld but last 3 times I did it with a made up group they just stood around and did nothing. If I leave my girlfriends guild that we made together she would get pissed but also she bearly plays. So my question is should I stay in the guild with my girlfriend or should I try and find a guild that will help me in getting through the underworld and let me get the fissure armor?

Just discuss disbanding the guild with her and joining an established guild
together, that's about the only thing I can think of. |

but she loves our guild name because it goes with our game names our guild name is Heaven and Hell HaH and my game name is Demon From Hell and hers is Angel From Heaven so she might say she wants to keep the name.

You could try and join a guild with a similar name.
At some point you two are going to have to compromise... |

You don't necessarily need a good guild. I have a huge friends list just from playing the game. My guild only has 3 members in it besides myself. Eventually you will find good people to do stuff with. I'd recommend starting groups for difficult quests and being kind and helpful to all involved.

Okay on that note she said it would be cool if we joined a guild with a similar name or if a other guild wanted to merge or something like that because our guild has it all a hall a cape but we don't have members so a merge would be good for us but I highly doubt that another guild would want to merge with just 2 people but I guess it is worth a shot. Thanks for all of your help Sister Rosette. Unienaule I have tryed to be nice and group with people but all I get in return is spit in my face. People online just have no respect for some players and I find all of the worst players on guild wars out there so maybe I can merge with a good group or something.

demon, you don't necessarily need to be in a guild to do uw or fow properly.
it takes a while, but do a few more pugs and try to make friends with people who you notice are both good and friendly players. don't even bother if they either suck or are completely rude. add them to your friends list and ask if they want to do those trips more often with you. if they feel the same way about you, they probably won't mind. i'm in a similar situation since my guild currently has only 2 active members. i've gone to uw/fow with random people and have slowly built up a friends list of people i go with regularly now. usually, if you have a good run with a pug, people will start talking about adding each other to friends and doing those trips more often together. just be patient. |

no matter what. Most of the time UW/FoW PUG's are *fairly* reliable, so you shouldn't have many problems with that. They're more advanced areas, and it takes a little more intelligence/teamwork to handle them. Most other places.. not so much... At any rate, good luck in your endeavor. |

heres an idea, start recruiting people, make your guild bigger then 2 people. I mean, a 2 people guild is not really a guild. just spend a bit of time recruiting, help guildless people do missions and recruit them after. Its not hard to make a big guild with lots of member if you put a bit a time into it. Then trust me, once you have tons of members you'll have UW/FoW groups going daily and all day. Well, when we have favor anyways. And be patient. It will take a bit a time at the start. But after a while you'll have some people in your guild that will be able to become officers as well and help recruiting and etc.... then bigger it gets it seems to hit a cycle where it just grows. Trust me on that, I know from experiance, i have 2 guilds. All it took to make them large and fun, was a bit of confidence in myself and some patience.

Speaking of NOT, that's my guild and for the OP (no this isn't a recruiting comment) - we like to do UW & FoW runs as often as we can form a decent group. We have several solo'rs for the UW that don't mind having a 2nd or 3rd person along. Once we get to know someone we extend an offer to join or just run with us whenever. ign - Bedside Manner (MO), Scarys On His Way (Nec) those are who I'm usually on as lately. |

I have tryed to do the whole recruiting thing and I was close to a real nice guild until one day the members just stop getting on and moved to other guilds I have tryed to build it up since then but since I have no help it is really hard to do that and also now a days people are already in a guild and it is really hard to get people in a guild. I have tryed to help on missions and I have but at the end they just run off saying thanks but no thanks because I don't have enough members and they want an active guild so my question is if they want an active guild how do you become active I mean I am on everyday I help out alot of people and I am my guild is not active so can someone help me on recruiting tips or something??????

I agree with recruiting. You should start recruiting by helping lower levels run missions. Recruit the guildless ones. Just plan on spending some time cultivating players. Eventually you will have a good group and you'll all be friends. Get some space on the public gw-vent server or another public server so you can chat.
